Marcellin College Business Network LinkedIn Breakfast

On June 8, the Business Network headed in to Southbank to attend a session entitled ‘Rock Your Profile’ at the Linkedin offices. Old Collegian James Delahunty facilitated this morning, and we were very happy to turn up on a cold Melbourne morning to find a barista serving delicious coffee, plus a delicious and healthy breakfast.

Business Network Evening

The Business Network ran a very successful evening on Wednesday May 18.  Numbers were smaller than anticipated, but in hindsight, a big positive for those who attended, as there was a real 'buzz' in the air, and a lot of serious and very useful networking taking place.

Mike Gregory Antarctica Swim

Those of you who attended our first Business Breakfast in November last year were fascinated by Mike Gregory and his amazing feats of swimming.

We were all impressed by the various swim challenges he had successfully completed so we thought you may like to see a picture of his latest 'dip'!

Mike had travelled to the Antarctic Peninsula for a work trip, but when presented with a stretch of water (albeit at a freezing temperature) he thought he may as well swim it! I'm sure all of us feel like that when presented with an ocean full of ice and snow!

Marcellin Business Breakfast March 2014

A balmy March autumn morning made the 6.30am start quite palatable for our guests as we kicked off our Networking year at the Marcellin Functions Room last Friday (28th).  We were privileged to have Peter O'Callaghan QC as our keynote speaker.  Peter had six sons educated at Marcellin and it was great to have sons Marcus and Chris and grandson Pat join us too.
